In truth, Dele Alli’s current situation and stall in his career has a lot to do with his own decisions.
Sean Dyche, who was recently appointed to help save the club from the shackles of relegation, spoke on Alli’s situation after the 27-year old returned to the club after an underwhelming loan spell in Turkey.
"He's not here obviously. He has got an injury that will keep him out for some time.” Sean Dyche said as quoted by BBC.
"He’s 26, he knows certain things that he should or shouldn’t be doing. As a manager, you can’t control everything they do in their lives. You can only guide players with what’s good for them. Eventually, players have their own choices to make. Of course, you want them to make good choices.

James Rodriguez has contract terminated
Elsewhere, Sports Brief reported on another player – James Rodriguez, who recently had his contract terminated by Olympiacos.
Rodriguez will not play for the Greek club again as the Olympiacos hierarchy decided against extending or seeing out his contract due to several reasons.
His 6 months at the club have been anything but easy, as a combination of injuries and inconsistent performances have led to the club’s bosses losing their patience with him.
